Services

EVAC provides the Town of Ellington and surrounding communities with Emergency Medical Services, responding to 911 calls 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. During inclement weather, states of emergency, and other high-volume events, EVAC organizes additional staffing for our second ambulance.

Throughout the year EVAC is asked to support events in Ellington and around the community. We provide a full crew to oversee the medical safety at annual events, complex fire scenes, and requests from the neighboring towns.

Regular trainings are held for active members at EVAC. As part of our continuing education and commitment to the continuation of volunteer EMS, EVAC holds Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), and CPR classes at our station.
